You are invited to the final night of Startup 101, an experiential, team based, Silicon Valley style entrepreneurship class offered across UCSF and in the broader life science community. Teams have been learning how to create a life science/healthcare business plan for their science and technology ideas. Ideas cover the full spectrum of life science interests -- therapeutics, diagnostics, devices and digital health. Our goal is to identify high potential, scalable ventures for commercialization.
The 12 week course exposes these scientists and clinicians to business topics: opportunity recognition, customer discovery, business models, corporate legal, IP, clinical/regulatory, reimbursement, entrepreneurial finance and capital sources. We will choose the 10 best teams to present at Pitch Night, the culmination of the course.
Please stay for the reception sponsored by Fenwick & West LLP.
